The advanced student will take away from this course a Advanced knowledge of Tactical Handgun operation. Understanding and using the skillsets from the Tactical Defensive Pistol course, and applying a deeper operational skillset in "Gunfighting". Also, the complete requirements to engage  if a threat is encountered.

Course Objective:

• Safe handling of firearm
• Advanced loading and unloading procedures under duress
• Firing pistol with accuracy at a longer distance (Timed Evolution)
• Advanced Movement Drills
• Firing from concealment and different positions
• Advanced pistol manipulation using single dominate and non dominate hand with accuracy
• Target identification
• Tactical reloading
• Malfunction clearance
• YOU MUST HAVE TAKEN THE TACTICAL DEFENSIVE PISTOL OR A DD214 WITH ADVANCED PISTOL PLATFORM TRAINING PRIOR TO THIS COURSE

Required Equipment

• Handgun with holster and 400 rounds of ammunition
• 6 magazines
• Knee and elbow pads – recommended
• Eye and ear protection – Electronic ear protection is recommended
• Hat
• Magazine pouches or dump pouch
• Body armor (optional)
• Clothing appropriate for the weather
• Lunch, snacks, water (there will be limited time for lunch)
• There is no Classroom Evolution in this course
