DEFENSIVE SHOTGUN TACTICS:

The student will take away from this course a solid knowledge of the "Tactical Shotgun Weapons Platform" operation. Understanding and using the skillsets applied during the Range Evolution. Classroom Evolution you have foundation for applying a deeper operational skillset in "Gunfighting". Also, the complete requirements to engage when a threat is encountered.

Course Objective:

• Understanding defensive tactics 
• Learning tactical movement 
• Safe handling of Shotgun Weapons Platform
• Loading and unloading procedures under duress
• Firing with precision at various distances 
• Tactical Movement Drills
• Firing from concealment and different positions
• Target identification
• Tactical reloading
• Malfunction clearance

Required Equipment

• Operable shotgun sling optional (pump or semi-automatic)
• 50 rounds shotgun ammo (25 - slugs, 25 - .00 buck shot)
• Range Belt or Battle Belt (Suggested though Optional)
• Dump Pouch (Required)
• Tactical Kit (Optional)
• recommended.Knee and elbow pads –
• Eye and ear protection
• Ball Cap
• Clothing appropriate for the weather
• Lunch, snacks, water
