DEFENSIVE SHOTGUN TACTICS:

The student will take away from this course a solid knowledge of the "Tactical Shotgun Weapons Platform" operation. Understanding and using the skillsets from the Classroom Evolution and applied during the Range Evolution. Applying a deeper operational skillset in "Gunfighting". Also, the complete requirements to engage when a threat is encountered.

Course Objective:

• Safe handling of Shotgun Weapons Platform
• Loading and unloading procedures under duress
• Firing with accuracy at a various distance
• Tactical Movement Drills
• Firing from concealment and different positions
• Target identification
• Tactical reloading
• Malfunction clearance

Required Equipment

• Operable shotgun with a sling (pump or semi-automatic)
• 100 rounds shotgun ammo (50 slugs, 50 .00 buck shot)
• Range Belt or Battle Belt (Suggested though Optional)
• Dump Pouch (Required)
• Tactical Kit (Optional)

• Eye and ear protection
• Ball Cap
• Clothing appropriate for the weather
• Lunch, snacks, water
