Steve Robinson

Instructor/Director of Operations and Training

I bring over 55 years of firearms experience.

My firearms journey started as a youth in the Junior NRA program. Competing in Junior Rim Fire competition. I enlisted in the Military at 18, spending 8 years in Naval Special Operations. Upon leaving my Military service, I entered school at UCSD and received a degree in Occupation Safety and Health. Upon graduating, I started then Copperstate Consulting Services LLC. Working in the General/Construction industry. Teaching companies "Safety Disciplines", for many years. While operating CCS, I received My NRA Instructor credentials.  I sold CCS and decided to embark on another venture. That was starting American CCW Firearms Training LLC. With my former training in many "Small Arms" Disciplines and Safety. We at ACCFT have built a culture of, Instructing our students not only in each firearms discipline, also with a strong emphasis on safety. To date American CCW Firearms Training has had over a thousand students pass through our Firearm Training Programs. We ensure each student is well informed in the laws and rights of owning a firearm. Expressing the importance to each student the responsibility of "Carrying Daily".

  • NRA Youth Air Rifle Coach

  • Civilian Marksmanship Program JMIC Instructor

  • AZ DPS Authorized CCW Instructor

Instructor/Range Safety Officer 

My experience in firearms stems back over 30 years starting with the military where he received initial weapons training which has since progressed over the years. He has served in various positions including volunteering at the sheriff's department, search and rescue. 


 I am continuously developing my skills as an instructor through continued education and skills development with the NRA. I am constantly pursuing more knowledge and experience to pass on to the students.
As an instructor, I am Driven about developing each student’s abilities. Instructing them to integrate safe, responsible, and proficient firearms operation along with self-resiliency strategies into their “Daily Life”.
