The introduction to Basic Rifle Fundamentals course covers safety and proper handling and use of a rifle.

Course Description: 

 The Introduction to Basic Rifle Fundamentals course is an excellent introduction to the first-time rifle owner that wants to learn the fundamental safety and handling procedures necessary to be a proficient shooter.

This class will go over the basic fundamentals behind all safety and handling procedures that go with your new rifle. If you just purchased your first rifle for Hunting or Competition, you will learn the proper grip, stance, sight acquisition, and trigger manipulation to have full confidence in using your firearm. From the first-time shooter to the person looking to just get re-acquainted, this course is the perfect first step. The course has a 3 hour in the Classroom Evolution and 2 hours of Range Evolution with a certified instructor.


  • Course Requirements:

  • A Rifle – any caliber

  • 50 rounds of ammunition

  • Ear and eye protection

  • Ball Cap

  • A willingness to learn.

  • Rifle Firearm Platform Safety

  • How to operate your rifle:

  • How to load your rifle

  • How to operate the action on your rifle

  • Shooting fundamentals which include:

  • Shooting from Multiple Positions as Follows: 

  • Benchrest position

  • Kneeling position

  • Prone position

  • Standing position

  • Proper grip

  • Sight picture

  • Trigger pull

  • Breath Control

     This is a Tier III Course

      3 Hour Classroom Evolution

     2 Hour Range Evolution
