Service Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION The basic shotgun course teaches you the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and proper use of a shotgun and shooting a moving target. This is a 4-hour course and includes both professional hands on training and live fire range time learning how to hit a moving target. You will be taught rules for safe gun handling, shotgun parts and operation, shotgun care, shotgun ammunition and shooting fundamentals. And continued opportunities for skill development. COURSE OBJECTIVE This course is an Introduction course for the individual who has never owned a shotgun and is interested in owning their First Shotgun. This course has now both a classroom evolution and range evolution to teach the necessary information to SAFE ownership and OPERATION for Shotguns: This includes how to manipulate in a Home Environment training evolution EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS Shotgun with 25 rounds of ammunition (Buckshot or Slug Shells) Belt with Dump Pouch Eye and ear protection – Electronic ear protection is recommended Hat Lunch, snacks, water (there will be limited time for lunch) SPECIAL NOTE: The live fire portion of this course can only be given outside in an open range with minimal cover so you will be subject to the environment and appropriate clothing should be worn (sunscreen, bug spray, cool comfortable clothing, etc.) ​ Course Completion Students will receive an ACCWFT Certificate of Completion $220 first student / $140 additional student - max two students

Refunds will only given if ACCWFT cancels your class. If you decide to cancel, a refund will not be given. You can request a different class slot.
